• Letter from the Chamber President

  • Howdy, and Welcome to Pilot Point, TX!

Being a member of the Pilot Point Chamber of Commerce has been a remarkable experience for me, both professionally and personally. The welcoming and fun atmosphere, speakers at our luncheons, dedicated board of directors, events, celebrations, and exploding population growth have all fostered a feeling of progress and prosperity. I have enjoyed my time as an elected member of the Chamber board over the past two years, and now I am both honored and humbled to have been elected to serve as President.

As we move into the future, my goal is to help continue the Chamber's history of connecting our network of businesses, non-profit organizations, and local officials to the needs of our community. With Pilot Point's blossoming population, responsible growth is top of mind so that we may continue to flourish. Having overcome obstacles great and small, we have shown that we are an innovative and resilient city with plenty of room for growth.

Why should a business choose to settle in Pilot Point? Aside from the support of our wonderful local Chamber and business community, Pilot Point offers many perks afforded by its strategic location in North Texas. Our city's Municipal Development District has found that Pilot Point enjoys a concentrated talent pool across many industries, as well as access to 55,000+ students that attend colleges within 20 miles. Combining this talented workforce with thousands of acres of available commercial land and a business-friendly city government makes Pilot Point an excellent choice for businesses of all sizes.

The City of Pilot Point also offers great incentives to new and existing businesses, including tax abatements, grants, and property enhancement programs. Our expanding tourism efforts, official Film Friendly designation, and increases in lodging add significant value as well. It also doesn't hurt that we sit right next to a beautiful State Park and the tenth largest lake in Texas.

We welcome new businesses to join our Chamber with open arms, and I look forward to seeing you at a luncheon, ribbon cutting, or any number of our community events and celebrations. I invite you to broaden your network by volunteering or engaging with a Chamber committee. If you are not already, become a member of the Pilot Point Chamber of Commerce and contribute your voice to our mission of expanding business opportunities, stimulating the area's economy, and promoting regional tourism!

    Warmest regards,

Jimerson Adkins, Pilot Point Chamber President
Owner of Dog Gone Marketing and Pilot Point Coffee House
