Bring your whole family and visit a little piece of Holland right here in Texas!
You can start picking your tulips mid/end of February and you can pick all the way through end of March/early April, but it all depends on the weather.
In total, you have about 100 varieties of tulips to choose from (early, mid, and late-flowering varieties). The availability of varieties changes throughout the picking season. We have a huge range of colors and different shapes, something for everyone. The tulips are too tempting to resist and you become a real tulip lover!
Here's how it works:
Take a picking basket, which is available on the field.
Pick the tulips you want to buy and create your own wonderful bunch of tulips!
Bring us your tulips—we will wrap the tulips for you in pretty wrapping paper and we put a special gel on the stems to preserve your tulips until you can get them home or your next visit.
Take your tulips home or enjoy the rest of your day—the gel will preserve them all day long!
The gel keeps the tulips fresh for the rest of the day. Once you bring your tulips to their new home, rinse the gel off and put the tulips in water. Use your favorite vase to decorate your home. Or even a bucket to display your tulip flowers outside on your terrace or porch—just pick a place where you can enjoy them!
